COVID-19 Information

OFFICE REQUIREMENTS

You are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing in all Amundsen Davis offices, regardless of your vaccination status when interacting with other employees, guests and clients. Practice proper hand washing, sanitize frequently, and do not come to work if you are sick.

VACCINATION & STATUS

Human Resources recently launched a new way to update your vaccination status with the firm. If you haven’t done so already, please reach out to [email protected] to receive a prompt to upload a copy of your vaccination card in ADP Workforce Now. Note: You must download the ADP app on your smart phone in order to participate in the survey (available through Google Play or the Apple Store). Don’t have a smart phone? E-mail HR for further instructions.

FLU SHOT VACCINATIONS

As we enter cold/flu season, the CDC is recommending an annual flu vaccination for the 2021-2022 year.

Did you know?

  • If you are unvaccinated against COVID-19 and are considering it, you can receive both the Flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same time.
  • Flu vaccines are not designed to protect against COVID-19; however, it is possible to have flu and other respiratory illnesses like COVID-19 at the same time.
  • All flu vaccines will be quadrivalent (four component), meaning they are designed to protect against FOUR difference flu viruses.

If you have PPO/HSA coverage with BCBS of IL, you will not have to pay for a flu shot. Present a copy of your medical card at the pharmacy or visit your healthcare provider for the flu vaccine.

If you have HMO IL coverage through BCBS of IL OR if you currently do not have medical coverage, SmithAmundsen will reimburse up to 50% of the cost of your flu shot vaccine. In order to receive the reimbursement, retain a copy of your receipt showing proof of payment and submit an expense reimbursement through ChromeRiver. Per firm policy, all expenses are to be submitted within 45 days in order to be reimbursed.
