If you are a part-time employee who is regularly scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week, you are eligible for some paid time off benefits as well as the 401k Retirement Savings Plan.
Employees become eligible on the first day of the month after the completion of 30 days of employment.
Any elections made during the Initial Enrollment are in effect for the plan year and cannot be changed without experiencing a “qualified life event” such as:
- Marriage, Divorce, Legal Separation
- Birth or Adoption of a child
- Change in child’s dependent status
- Death of spouse, child, or other qualified dependent
- Change in spouse’s employment status
- Involuntary loss of other coverage
You cannot change your benefit elections during the Plan Year unless you have a Qualifying Life Event, such as the birth or adoption of a child.
